Our fast growing Hardwood species delivers a number of unique attributes, along with key benefits over existing supply chains for timber grown in the U.K.

Reliance upon traditional Forestry models for Biomass chip & pellet fuels are causing many established rotations to over extend their harvesting to meet current demands. In stabilising the demand for wood fuels the negative impact falls onto the Country's Timber market which is suffering with loss of seasoned hardwood and softwood for Industry. Significant increases in market value of these types of traditional grown timbers are effecting manufacturing of a multitude of Timber products across the regions.

Our managed Forestry products provide resilience and Sustainable wood fuels along with high grade Timber, allowing traditional mixed Forestry to continue to maturity.

As part of our managed services and engagement with the UK's Forestry bodies & departments, our commitment extends to planting Native Woodlands along with Biodiversity margins across our plantations. These in turn create natural corridors for habitats to establish & flourish, as part of a National strategy for sustainable timbers, planting of short rotation forestry saves Natural Capital and existing ecosystems from commercial demand.

"What's the future of fuel"

We are undertaking trials in a number of specific Hybrid timbers for the use in our Sustainable developments, providing Fuel Security with our low emission fuels whilst remediating low yielding Farm land & set-aside.

Regenerative short rotation forestry providing long term Timber products, viability of these plantations are managed from our analytics and IOT embedded systems. Environmental monitoring of our plantations for historical & legacy data mapping, creates a unique position for land and soil changes.

Poor Wood Fuel quality is the main cause of disruption and faults to the majority of systems for the Domestic and Commercial markets. Wood pellets in particular cause significant issues if the pellets aren't formed properly, causing dust and mechanical breakdown of the fuel.

Wood chip is less susceptible however moisture content and sizing are stringent requirements for correct fuel delivery & maintainability of Biomass systems.

Our virgin timbers are sourced from Sustainable rotations with continual replanting undertaken to provide further harvests. Some of our key fuels offer higher calorific variants compared to standard mixed forestry, providing higher outputs with lower transportation costs.
