Corporate And Social Responsibilities

Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Corporate social responsibility is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into our business model and practices. S.E.R.C. CSR policy functions as a self-regulatory mechanism whereby our business monitors and ensures an active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards and national or international norms.

Integrated Reporting

S.E.R.C. integrated reporting & corporate communication is a "process that results in communication", most visibly a periodic “integrated report”, about value creation over time. Our integrated reporting is a concise communication about how our organization’s strategy, governance, performance and prospects lead to the creation of value over the short, medium and long term." It means the integrated representation of S.E.R.C. Group & associated Companies performance in terms of both financial and other values relevant to our operations.

Natural Capital

S.E.R.C. Natural capital calls upon stock of natural resources which creates a long term supply of goods or services. Our extension of the economic notion of capital (resources which enable the production of more resources) to goods and services provided by the natural environment.

Triple bottom line

Providing our accounting framework with three parts: social, environmental and financial. Our organization has adopted the TBL framework to evaluate and increase our collaborative performance in a broader perspective to create greater business value. The term was coined by John Elkington in 1994.

Sustainable Development

Our strategies for long term Sustainable Development incorporate a universal framework to meet Human and Environmental challenges. Ensuring the Economic, Environmental & Social Development for future generations through our aligned programs for Energy security, Water & Sustainable Food security, Carbon emission targets through use of our managed Forestry & key Resource Recovery technologies to eliminate harmful and destructive products in the Biosphere.

Environmental Monitoring

Instant notification of weather patterns provided by strategic instruments within the field, measuring and evaluation software placed to ensure nutrient release within our plantations. Aerial mapping provides 2D & 3D geographical imagery for identifying planting areas and growth analysis across the estates.

Our software learning platforms interrogate the data streams for informed choices upon planting parameters with variations in soil structure & composition. Historical information provides key data on land formation and soil composition below current Tilling depths and standard crop rotations.

Data Analytics

Structured and Unstructured data is collated across all areas of S.E.R.C. to provide informative and live analytics streams. These in turn are relayed via dashboards for various interpretation under our Resource to Energy projects, Sustainable Biofuels & Timber plantations and strategies into the vertical Farming sector for Food Security.

Stream Analytics provide us with historical trends and ability to identify anomalies centred around critical systems and processes.

Carbon Offset Program

development of our Carbon monitoring and offset programs provided by areas of our U.K. plantations for Short Rotation Crop Biofuel & Sustainable Timbers. Most recently we are developing products for the Green Roof environment with additional benefits in Carbon capture.

Our platform for Carbon Credits will be linked to our E-Commerce network with a host of applicable projects and credits available through our portal and Partners.
